I am a 1st year mathematics PhD student at Purdue University working on represetation theory, automorphic forms, and the Langlands program. I did my undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.

During my undergraduate years, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend two summers studying abroad. I attended the summer 2023 session of Budapest Semesters in Mathematics, where I made many friends (some of whom are now also math PhD students with me at Purdue!) and learned lots of new math. Professor Péter Hermann’s algebra course was particularly impactful on my mathematical interests, and I thank Professor Hermann for his enthusiastic teaching and many after class discussions that sparked my interest in representation theory! In the summer of 2024, I received funding through the Aalto Science Institute International Summer Research Programme to research the similarity classes of integer matrices under the supervision of Professor Vanni Noferini at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland.

I am passionate about teaching and have worked as a teaching assistant for calculus, linear algebra, real analysis, and abstract algebra courses. I believe that everyone has the potential to have enjoyable and fulfilling interactions with mathematics and that patient and enthusiastic instruction is essential to fostering such experiences.

Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time practicing Brazillian jiu-jitsu, playing basketball and tennis, and following the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.
